MINOR ORAL SURGERY

Here we surgically excise bone or soft tissue from within the oral cavity or jaw bones. These may be necessary because the tooth is unsavable, or we want to improve the success of dental rehabilitation.  Procedures include tooth extractions, periodontal (gum) surgery, implant surgery and bone regeneration treatments.

We provide the surgery in the dental chair, under local anaesthesia.  The procedures usually involve the cutting of gums, so patients will need to return in 5-7 days following surgery for suture removal.
